How does BoloBolo work?
A visual scene appears and the app speaks a prompt. Your child says the two-word phrase (e.g. 'open box') and the scene animates. Real-time AI voice recognition detects the words — fuzzy matching means near-correct pronunciations still trigger the reward.
Which languages does BoloBolo support?
10 Indian languages via Sarvam AI (English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi) plus 8 global languages (French, German, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, Thai, Portuguese).
Is it suitable for children with autism?
Yes. BoloBolo has a Low-Stim mode that removes animations and reduces sensory stimulation. All visual cues are clear and consistent. The session cap (30 minutes) prevents overstimulation.
Does it require an internet connection?
Yes — the Sarvam AI voice recognition requires internet. The Web Speech API fallback also requires a connection. A stable connection gives the best experience.
